Unlike the post of a transport request (for goods) which must be loaded in location A and unloaded in location B, a transport offer (available truck) can be published in several ways:
- CITY-CITY, when the carrier has the empty truck in city A and has to take it to city B, and tries to avoid empty kilometers
- CITY-COUNTRY, when the carrier has the empty truck in city A and is willing to take loads to any city in the COUNTRY, for various reasons, let’s say, just because „he wants to take his trucks out of city A”
- CITY-ANYWHERE, when the truck is in its garage and the carrier is interested in any national or international shipments (the administration of the application has reservations about this kind of transport offers, as being unrealistic)
Following the requests from the transport offer consultants (available trucks), we revised the ordering of the truck search answers, so that the first mentioned category has priority.
For example, if you are looking for a free truck on the route Bucharest - Arad, the results will be sorted as follows:
First trucks CITY-CITY
- the available trucks on the requested route, for our example: Bucharest - Arad
Then CITY – COUNTRY
- the next category displayed will be the available trucks which has the loading point mentioned in the search, and country as destination, for our example: Bucharest – Romania
Then CITY – ANYWHERE
- in the end, will be displayed the available trucks which have the loading point mentioned in the search, and anywhere as destination, for our example: Bucharest – anywhere
For each of these three categories the sort is based on a kilometer range, so if you want to have a bigger range, you must click „Enlarge Search”
